اللَّهُمَّ يَا مُسَخِّرَ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَ الْأَرْضِيْنَ وَ مَنْ
فِيهنَّ وَ مَنْ عَلَيْهِنَّ
O Allah! O subjugator of the Seven
Heavens and the Earths
and everyone and everything in them!
سَخِّرْ لِي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ مِمَّا فِي بَرِّكَ وَ بَحْرِكَ يَا
رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Subject to me everything (in the
hands) of your servants
From what is in Your land and Your
sea O Lord of the Worlds!
حَتَّى لَا يَكُونُ فِي الْكَوْنِ شَيْءٌ مُتَحَرِّكٌ أَوْ سَاكِنٌ صَامِتٌ
أَوْ نَاطِقٌ ظَاهِرٌ أَوَ بَاطِنٌ
Until there is nothing moving or still
in this universe, silent or vocal, apparent or hidden
إِلَّا سَخَّرْتَهُ لِي وَ يَكُونُ طَوْعَ أَمْرِي بِبَرَكَةِ اِسْمِكَ اللَّطِيفِ
الْمَكْنُونِ يَا اللهُ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
Except that You have subjected it to
me and my command, through the Grace of Your most Compassionate & Hidden
Name! O Allah! O Ever-Living & Ever in-Charge!
إِنَّمَا أَمَرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
Indeed, His Affair is such that if He
wishes something, He says to it: Be and it is!
اللَّهُمَّ جُودُكَ دَلَّنِّي عَلَيْكَ وَ إِحْسَانُكَ قَرَّبَنِي إِلَيْكَ
O Allah! Your Generosity lead me to You! And Your
Bounty brought me to You!
أَشْكُو إِلَيْكَ مَا لَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْكَ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ مَا لَا يَعْسُرُ
عَلَيْكَ
I lament to You about that which is not hidden from
You
and I ask of You that which is not difficult for
You!
إِذْ عِلْمُكَ بِحَالِي يُغْنِي عَنْ سُؤَاليِ
For Your knowledge of my condition suffices from my
beseeching of You!
يَا مُفَرِّجًا عَنْ كُلِّ مَفْرُوجٍ كَرْبَهُ وَ مُنَجِّيهِ فَرِّجْ عَنِيّ
كَرْبِي وَ مَا أَنَا فِيهِ
O Remover of calamities from those afflicted with
it, and their Saviour!
Remove from me the tribulation that I am in!
يَا مَنْ لَيْسَ بِغَائِبٍ فَأَنْتَظِرُهُ وَ لَا بِنَائِمٍ فَأُوقِظُهُ وَ
لَا بِغَافِلٍ فَأُنَبِّهُهُ
O who is not absent, that I should wait for Him or
asleep that I should awaken him
Or heedless that I should beg His attention!
وَ لَا بِنَاسٍ فَأُذَكِّرُهُ وَ لَا بِعَاجِزٍ فَأُمْهِلَهُ
O who is not forgetful, that I should remind Him or
weak that I should give Him time!
يَا عَالِمًا بِالْجُمْلَةِ وَ غَنِيًّا عَنِ التَّفْصِيلِ يَا سَامِعًا لِلْقَالِ
وَ الْقِيْلِ
O who knows all at once and is in no need of
detail!
O who knows all that is said and heard!
كَفَى عِلْمُكَ عَنِ الْمَقَالِ وَ انْقَطَعَ الرَّجَاءُ إِلَّا مِنْكَ يَا
مُتَعَالُ
Your knowledge suffices from any words (from me)
And all hope is lost in anyone but You!
وَ خَابَتِ الْآمَالُ إِلَّا فِيكَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ
For all hopes have been disappointed save in You!
وَ انْسَدَّتِ الطُّرُقُ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ يَا مِفْضَالُ
And all paths have been blocked but (the path) to
You O Generous One!
يَا اللهُ يَا سَمِيعُ يَا قَرِيبُ يَا بَصِيرُ يَا مُجِيبُ
O Allah! O All-Hearing! O Most-Near! O All-Seeing!
O Who answers (our pleas)!
اِغْفِرْ لِي وَ ارْحَمْنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Forgive me and have mercy on me! O Most Merciful of
all!
وَ يَسِّرْ لِي رِزْقِي وَ سَخِّرْ لِي جَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ
And ease for me my providence and subject to me all
Your creation!
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرُ
Indeed You have the Ability to do anything!
وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ
And may the Blessings and Salutations
of Allah be upon our master Muhammad
And his Family & Companions!

Maqām of Shaykh Ahmad al-Tijani (RA)
This is one of the prayers that can be traced back to Sidnā Shaykh Tijānī (RA). In Tijaniyyah sources, this prayer is narrated via Sharīf Sīdī Umar ad-Dabbāgh (RA), grandson of the famous Qutb Sidi Abdul-Aziz ad-Dabbagh (RA). Sharīf Umar was one of the elite companions of Sidnā Shaykh Tijānī (RA). He complained of his difficult circumstances to Sidnā Shaykh Tijānī (RA) and was given this prayer.
