HE IS THE FLOOD OF GRACE (HUWA-L FAYD)
A poem in praise of Sahib al-Faydah Mawlana Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (RA)

هُوَ الْفَيْضُ لا يَخْفَى عَلَى مَنْ تَبَصَّرَا
فَـمَنْ شَـاءَ يَأْتِيهِ وَ مَـنْ شَاءَ أَنْكَـرَا
He is the Flood of Grace (Fayd)…and that is apparent to anyone with vision!
So approach him if you wish to… or deny him if you wish to!
وَ خَصَّ بـِهِ الْـمَــوْلَى مَدِينَةَ كَـوْلَــخٍ
فـَكَـانَتْ لَـهُ دُونَ الْمَـدَائِنِ مَظْهَــرَا
And the Lord chose the Medina of Kaolack…as his abode!
And from all the towns (of this World)…He manifests from there!
وَ مَظْـهَـرُ هــَذَا الْفَيْضِ لَا شَكَّ أَنـَّهُ
تَنـَالُ بِهِ الْأَيَّــــامُ عِــزّاً وَ مَفْـخَـــرَا
And the sign of this Grace is that without doubt…
All that is connected to him…will be honoured & glorified!
مَتَى تَأْتِهِ يـَوْمـاً وَ تُـلـْمِـمْ بـِدَارِهِ
تـَرَى الْأَمْرَ مِنْ شَمْسِ الظَّهِيرَةِ أَظْهَــرَا
And the day you approach him and visit his abode…
You will see that the truth of his matter is brighter than the Sun!
تَجِدْ فِتْيَةٌ سَكْرَى بِذِكْرِ إلَهِنَا
وَ كُلَّ فَتَىً يُلْفَى لَدَى الذِّكْرِ أَزْوَرَا
You will find there young men…intoxicated in the remembrance of their Lord!
And you’ll see every one of them…swaying in the remembrance of their Lord!
فَأَصْغَرُهُم فِيهِ يُزَاحِمُ أَكْبَراً
وَ أَكْبَرُهُم فِيهِ يُزَاحِمُ أَصْغَرَا
And the youngest of them (his disciples)…will compete with the oldest!
And the oldest of them will compete with the youngest (in the praise of their Lord)!
هِيَ الْفَيْضَةُ الْـعـُظْـمَى فَـلَا مُـتـَـقَـدِّمٌ
يـَحُــومُ حـَـوَالَـيـْهَــا وَ لَا مُـتـَـأَخِّـــرَا
Surely, it is the Grand Flood (Faydah)…and no one (else)
Can come close to it…neither before him or after him (i.e. Shaykh Ibrahim)!
