In the
Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Ever Merciful
صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَظِيمُ وَ بَلَّغَ مَوْلَانَا رَسُولُهُ الْمُصْطَفَى
الصَّادِقُ الْأَمِينُ Allah the
Greatest has spoken the Truth And His
Chosen, Truthful & Trustworthy Prophet, our Master, has relayed it to us
fully!
وَ هُوَ أَصْدَقُ الْقَائِلِينَ وَالْمُصَدِّقِينَ
وَ نَحْنُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ And He is
the most truthful of speakers and confirmers, and we bear witness to that! And we believe in it fully, and there is no power or strength (to believe) but from Allah the Most High & Great! وَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْ سَادَاتِنَا أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَ عُمَرَ وَ عُثْمَانَ وَ عَلَيٍّ
And may
Allah be pleased with our masters Abu-Bakr, Umar, Uthman & Ali! وَ طَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرِ وَ سَعْدٍ وَ سَعِيدٍ وَ عَبْدِالرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ
عَوْفٍ وَ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْجَرَّاحِ And
Talhah, Zubayr, Sa’ad, Sa’id, Abdur-Rahman bin Awf & Abu-Ubaydah bin
al-Jarrah! وَ حَمْزَةَ وَالْعَبَّاسِ وَ جَعْفَرٍ وَ عَقِيلٍ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
And
Hamzah, Abbas, Ja’far, Aqil and Hasan & Husayn! وَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ خَدِيجَةَ وَ عَائِشَةَ وَ سَائِرِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And
Fatimah, Khadijah, Aishah and all the Mothers of the Believers! وَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ أَجْمَعِينَ And may
Allah be pleased with all the Companions of His Messenger (SAW) وَ عَنِ التَّابِعِينَ وَ تَابِعِي التَّابِعِينَ والتَّابِعِينَ لَهُمْ
بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ And their
followers & the followers of their followers in goodness, till Judgement
Day!
اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا يَا مَوْلَانَا مِنَ الْمُحِبِّينَ التَّابِعِينَ
لَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ O Allah
our Lord! Make us from their lovers & followers in good, till Judgement
Day! اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ
رَبِيعَ قُلُوبِنَا O Allah!
Make the Sublime Qur’an, the Spring of our hearts! اَللَّهُمَّ نَوِّرْ بِهِ
قُلُوبَنَا وَ قُبُورَنَا وَاشْرَحْ بِهِ صُدُورَنَا O Allah!
Illuminate by it our hearts & our graves! And gladden by it our chests! وَ يًسِّرْ بِهِ أُمُورَنَا وَ وَفِّقْنَا لِمَا فِيهِ رِضَاكَ عَنَّا And ease
through it our affairs, and guide us to what will please You with us! اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ أَمَامَنَا وَ قَائِدَنَا إِلَى
الْجَنَّةِ O Allah!
Make the Sublime Qur’an our leader, guiding us ahead to Paradise! وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ خَلْفَنَا سَائِقَنَا إِلَى النَّارِ And do not
make it drag us from behind to Hell-Fire! اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ شَافِعًا مُشَفَّعًا فِينَا O Allah!
Make the Sublime Qur’an an accepted Intercessor for us!
وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ مَاحِلًا مُصَدِّقًا فِينَا And do not
make it our opponent who will testify against us! اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لَنَا وَ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ عَلَيْنَا O Allah!
Make it (a witness) for us and not against us! اَللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا
تِلَاوَتَهُ عَلَى النَّحْوِ الَّذِي يُرْضِيكَ عَنَّا O Allah!
Make us recite it in the manner that will please You with us! وَ لَا تَجْعَلْ لَنَا ذَنْبًا
إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ وَ لَا هَمًّا إِلَّا فَرَّجتَهُ وَ لَا دَيْنًا إِلَّا
قَضَيْتَهُ And do not leave any sin of ours unforgiven and any worry our ours unresolved & any debt of ours unsettled! وَ لَا مَرِيضًا إِلَّا شَفَيْتَهُ وَ لَا عَدُوًّا إِلَّا كَفَيْتَهُ وَ لَا
غَائِبًا إِلَّا رَدَدْتَهُ And do not leave any of our sick uncured and any enemy of ours undefeated & any lost one of ours unreturned! وَ لَا عَاصِيًا إِلَّا عَصَمْتُهُ وَ لَا فَاسِدًا إِلَّا صَلَحْتَهُ وَ لَا
مَيِّتًا إِلَّا رَحِمْتَهُ And do not leave any sinner (from us) unpardoned and any corrupt one unreformed & any deceased one without Mercy! وَ لَا عَيْبًا إِلَّا سَتَرْتَهُ وَ لَا عَسِيرًا إِلَّا يَسَّرْتَهُ And do not
leave any fault uncovered and any difficulty except that You ease it (for us)!
وَ لَا حَاجَةً مِنَ حَوَائِجِ الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ لَكَ فِيهَا رِضًى
وَ لَنَا فِيهَا صَلَاحٌ And do not leave any of our worldly & otherworldly needs, that You approve of and we are deserving of…
إِلَّا أَعَنْتَنَا عَلَى قَضَائِهَا فِي يُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةٍ Except
that You assist us in fulfilling it, with ease and safety! إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
قَدِيرٌ وَ بِالْإِجَابَةِ جَدِيرٌ Surely You
have power over everything and You are the most likely to answer!
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ O most Majestic
& most Generous One!
اَللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا بِالْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ وَانْفَعْنَا بِمَا فِيهِ
مِنَ الْآيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الْحَكِيمِ O Allah! Have mercy on us through the Sublime Qur’an and make us benefit from what it contains of Verses & Wise Reminders! اَللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْنَا مِنْهُ مَا
جَهِلْنَا وَ ذَكِّرْنَا مِنْهُ مَا نَسِينَا O Allah!
Teach us from it what we don’t know & remind us of it what we forgot! وَارْزُقْنَا تِلَاوَتَهُ وَ حَلَاوَتَهُ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَ أَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضاتِكَ O Allah!
Grant us it’s recitation and its sweetness, night & day, seeking Your
Pleasure! اَللَّهُمَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ بِهِ
عَلَيْنَا مِنْ قَضَاءٍ فَاجْعَلْ عَاقِبَتَهُ رُشْدًا O Allah!
Whatever You’ve decreed for us (of tests) then make its outcome a good one! (رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً وَ هَيِّءْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا
رَشَدًا) O Allah!
Grant us Mercy from You & provide us with Guidance in all our affairs! (رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ قِنَا
عَذَابَ النَّارِ) O Allah!
Grant us goodness in this world & in the Hereafter and spare us from the
Fire! (رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى
الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَ لَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ
الْكَافِرِينَ) O Allah!
Do not take us to account if we forgot or made an error! O our Lord
do not impose on us a burden like You who imposed on those before us! And do not
make us a carry a burden we cannot bear! And pardon
us, forgive us and be merciful to us! You are
our Lord, so grant us victory against the Disbelievers!
(رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ
قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَ هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ
أَنْتَ الْوَهَّاب O our Lord! Do not let our hearts go astray after You guided it! And grant us a special Mercy from Your Presence. Indeed You are the most generous Bestower! (رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ
آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَ كَفِّرْ
عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَ تَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ رَبَّنَا وَ آتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَ لَا تُخْزِنَا
يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادِ) O our Lord!
Indeed we heard a caller calling towards Faith, saying “Believe in Your Lord”,
so we believed! O our
Lord, so forgive our sins & atone for our bad deeds & make us die with
the Pious! And grant
us O our Lord what You’ve promised (of reward) on the tongue of Your prophets! And
do not disappoint us on the Day of Resurrection! Indeed You
do turn back on Your Promise! (رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَ إِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَ تَرْحَمْنَا
لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ) O Allah!
We have wronged ourselves and if You do not forgive us & have mercy on us,
we shall be from the eternal losers! (رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَ ذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ
أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا) O Allah!
Make our spouses & our children the Coolness of our Eyes! And make
us leaders for the Pious! (رَبَّنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَ لِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ
وَ لَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا
إِنَّكَ رَؤُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ) O Allah! Forgive us & our brothers who preceded us with Faith! And do not keep in
our hearts any ill-feeling towards the Believers! O our Lord, You are Kind
& Merciful!
يَا رَبَّنَا يَا خَالِقَ الْعَوَالِمِ O Our Lord!
O Creator of the Worlds! حُلْ بَيْنَنَا وَ بَيْنَ كُلِّ ظَالِمِ Come
between us and every Oppressor! يَا رَبَّنَا أَنْتَ تَرَى مَا قَدْ جَرَى O Our
Lord! You see fully what has happened! فَاقْصِمْ بِقَهْرٍ مَنْ عَلَيْنَا
جَسَرَا So strike
down with Your might those who’ve transgressed upon us! يَا رَبَّنَا عَجِّلْ لَنَا بِالْفَرَجِ O Our
Lord! Hasten our relief! وَ نَجِّنَا مِنْ ضَيْعَةٍ وَ حَرَجِ And save
us from being lost and distraught!
وَامْدُدْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ حِمَاكَ الْأَمْنَعِ And spread
upon us from Your unbreachable protection…. سُرَادِقًا مَنْ حَلَّ فِيهِ
يُمْنَعُ Canopies…which
whoever is beneath them is safe!
اَللَّهُمَّ احْرُسْنَا بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِي لَا تَنَامُ O Allah! Guard
us with Your Protective Gaze that does not sleep! وَاكْنُفْنَا فِي كَنَفِكَ الَّذِي
لَا يُرَامُ And protect
us in Your circle of Protection that cannot be violated! وَاجْعَلْنَا فِي جِوَارِكَ
الَّذِي لَا يُخْفَرُ وَ لَا يُضَامُ And keep
us in Your Shelter that can never be breached or overtaken!
اَللَّهُمَّ نَدْرَءُ بِكَ فِي نُحُورِ الْأَعْدَاءِ وَ نَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ O Allah! We
make You our shield from the advances of our enemies! And we
seek Your refuge from their harms! اَللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنَاهُمْ بِمَا شِئْتَ O Allah!
Protect us from them in any manner you wish! اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَعْلَمُ
بِأَعْدَائِنَا وَ كَفَى بِكَ وَلِيًّا وَ كَفَى بِكَ نَصِيرًا O Allah! You know our enemies better than us! And You are sufficient as our Ally & as our Helper! اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَ
مَيِّتِنَا وَ كَبِيرِنَا وَ صَغِيرِنَا وَ ذَكَرِنَا وَ أُنْثَانَا O Allah forgive
our living & dead, our elders & young, our males & females! وَ حَاضِرِنَا وَ غَائِبِنَا
وَ حُرِّنَا وَ عَبْدِنَا وَ طَائِعِنَا وَ عَاصِينَا اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا
أَجْمَعِينَ Our
present & absent ones, our free & enslaved ones, our obedient &
disobedient ones! O Allah forgive us all! وَ تَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ وَاحْشُرْنَا فِي زُمْرَةِ النَّبِيِّينَ
وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ And make us die as Muslims and resurrect us in the company of the Prophets, Saints, Martyrs & Pious ones! وَاكْفِنَا مَا أَهَمَّنَا وَ مَا
لَمْ يُهِمَّنَا مِنْ اُمُورِ الدُّنْيَا وَالدِّينِ And suffice us for all that troubles us and does not trouble us, from all worldly & spiritual matters! وَ كُفَّ عَنَّا أَيْدِي الْمُعْتَدِينَ وَ لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ And keep away from us from the hands of the Transgressors & do not make us a prey for the Oppressors! وَ نَجِّنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ
عِبَادِكَ الْمُخْلِصِينَ And save us through Your Mercy from the Disbelievers. And make us among Your devoted servants! بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ By Your
Mercy! O most Merciful of the merciful ones! O Lord of the Worlds! سُبْحَان رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ
عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ Sublime is
your Lord, the Lord of Honour & Power, from what they ascribe (to Him)! وَ سَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ And Peace
be upon the Messengers! وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ And all praise
be to Allah, the Lord & Cherisher of the Worlds! |
