SAFĀ LIYA WAQTĪ (MY TIME IS FOR ME ONLY!)

صَفَا لِيَ وَقْتِي وَالْحَبِيبُ يُخَصِّصُ 

وَ إِنِّيَ مَحْبُوبٌ لِطَهَ مُخَصَّصُ

My time is for me only....and surely the Beloved chooses (whom he wishes)!

And indeed I am a Beloved of Taha ﷺ; chosen specially for him!

 

مُرَادٌ لِحَمْلِ السِّرِّ مِنْ قَبْلِ نَشْأَتِي 

مُرَبٍّ لِكُلِّ الْعَارِفِينَ وَ مُخْلِصُ

And I was chosen to carry the Secret even before I was created...

And (appointed then) a Pure Guide for all the Knowers (of Allah)!

 

وَ إِنْ دَهِشَ الْأَقْطَابُ يَوْمًا بِمَشْهَدٍ 

رَأَوْنِي وَانْقَادُوا إِلَيَّ وَ أَخْلَصُوا

And indeed I’ve seen all the Qutbs (Supreme Saints of the Islam)…

Fully submitting & acquiescing to my authority!

 

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَصَّ بِأَنَّنِي 

سَفِيرٌ لَهُ فِي الْكَائِنَاتِ مُخَلِّصُ

And I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ clearly stating that:

I am his Emissary to all Creation, and a Saviour (for them)!

 

عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ سَلَامُهُ

وَ آلٍ وَ أَصْحَابِ سَمَوْا وَ تَخَصَّصُوا

May the Blessing & Salutations of Allah be upon him...

And upon his Family & Companions, who rise (in rank); the chosen ones!

SHORT PRAYER FOR PROTECTION

Prescribed by Shaykh Mahy Cisse (HA)

To be recited 100 times in the day and in the night:

 

 أَسْتَكْفِي كُلَّ شَرٍّ بِلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله

Astakfī kulla sharrin bi La ilaha ill Allah

 

I ward off all evil by (the power of) La ilaha ill Allah (There is no god but Allah)!

NOTE:

Our Shaykhs prescribe the above prayer as a sure daily protection against all harm & evil 

 THE PICTURE OF IBRAHIM WILL REMAIN A REMINDER!

A poem Mawlana Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (RA) composed upon witnessing a picture of himself!

فَصُورَةُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ تَبْقَى تَذَكُّرَا 

The picture of Ibrahim will remain a reminder!

 إِذَا آبَ لِلْمَوْلَى الْعَلِي وَ تَفَكُّرَا

After he returns to His Lord Most High and is remembered!

مَتَى دَفَنُونِي فِي التُّرَابِ تَحَدَّثُوا

And surely after they bury me in the sand, they will say:

 لَقَدْ كَانَ يَنْوِي الْخَيْرَ لَوْ كَانَ مُقْصِرًا

He intended well only, despite (human) shortcomings!

 أُجَاوِرُ رَبَّا وَاهِبًا مُتَفَضِّلاً

I’ll be in my grave then, in the company of a Most Generous & Graceful Lord…

 وَ يُعْطِي الْعَبْدَ مَا الْكُلَّ حَيَّرَا بِقَبْرِي

Who granted me that which has baffled all (Mankind)!

حيَاتِي رُمُوزٌ كُلُّهَا وَ إِشَارَةٌ

Indeed, my life was just (Divine) codes & signs….

 تُفَسَّرُ مَهْمَا ذَاكَ الْقَبْرُ بُعْثِرَا

that will continue to be interpreted till I’m resurrected from that grave!

 وَ كُنْتُ حُرُوفًا عَالِيَاتٍ وَ أَسْطُرَا

And indeed I was but Sublime Letters & Sentences (from God Himself)…

 فَوَقَعَهَا شَخْصِي مَتَى قَامَ مُظْهِرَا

That were manifested in my person when I appeared!
