يقول شيخ الإسلام إبراهيم نياس رضي الله عنه في إحدى خطبه المولدي:
Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse, may Allah be pleased with him, said in one of his Mawlid sermons:
(موسوعة الآثار النثرية – الخطب الداخلية ص48)
إن لكل ثورة و كل حركة مبادئ و أسسا:
Every revolution & movement has principles & foundations:
و نحن مبادئنا لا إله إلا الله و إفراد الوجهة لله و مداومة ذكر الله
And our principles are:
(Proclaiming) There is no god but Allah!
Turning our focus only to Allah!
And constantly remembering Allah!
و تلاوة كتاب الله والصلاة على رسول الله و إخلاص العمل لله
Reciting the Book of Allah!
Sending blessings upon the Messenger of Allah!
And devoting our actions purely for Allah!
و محبة أولياء الله واحتمال أذى خلق الله و حسن الخلق مع عباد الله
Loving the Friends of Allah!
Bearing harm from the Creation of Allah (for the sake of Allah)!
And having good conduct with all the servants of Allah!
و حسن الظن بالله و شهود المنة لله و تفويض الأمور إلى الله
Having good thoughts of Allah!
Witnessing the favours of Allah!
And entrusting all our affairs to Allah!
والعمل والكسب لنفع النفس و عيال الله
Working & Earning to benefit ourselves & the creation of Allah!
امتثال أمر الله واجتناب ما نهى الله عنه و الرضا بقدر الله تعالى
Obeying the commands of Allah!
Avoiding what’s been forbidden by Allah!
And being satisfied with the Decree of Allah!
والجهاد في سبيل الله والصلاة لله والصيام لله والإنفاق في سبيل الله
Fighting in the Path of Allah, praying regularly to Allah!
Fasting for Allah & spending regularly in the way of Allah!
و حج بيت الله والعمرة لله إن يسر الله
Travelling for Hajj & Umrah to the House of Allah! For the sake of Allah, as eased by Allah!
و معاداة أعداء الله و معاودة الخير ابتغاء مرضاة الله
Displaying enmity to the enemies of Allah! & regularly doing good actions to gain the Pleasure of Allah!
هذا و إني جربت أعمال الخير وما رأيت أفضل من تلاوة القرآن و محبة النبي ﷺ
And know I have tried all good deeds and found nothing better than reciting the Holy Qur’an & loving the Prophet (SAW)…
والإستغفار و ذكر الله و محبة الصالحين والسعي في نفع الخلق هذا ما عندي
Reciting Istighfar, making Dhikr-Allah, loving the Righteous & striving to benefit others! And this is all I have (to say)!
وأسأل الله تعالى أن ينصرنا و ينصر إخواننا المجاهدين في سائر أنحاء العالم
And I ask Allah to grant victory to us & to all our mujahidin brothers throughout the world!

Bughyat al-Mustafid is one of the most important works on the history and rulings of the Tijani Tariqah. Written by Sidi al-Arabi ibn Sa'ih, nicknamed the "Bukhari of the Path", it summarizes the biographical accounts from Jawahir al-Ma'ānī and codifies the rulings of the path that had been scattered in different locations. The author's critical placement in the history of the path, having met many of the Companions of the Shaykh himself, as well as many of the imminent muqaddams, made him an indispensable source of clarity on many of the issues a Tijani disciple will face while walking the path.
The book also serves as a bridge to longer or more complicated works. It has been said, "If you want to read Jawahir al-Ma'ani, read Bughyat al-Mustafid first." This is because he clarifies some of the issues in Jawahir al-Ma'ani that may lead to a disciple having doubts or some misunderstandings.
