دُمُوعٌ كَرَقْـــــــرَاقِ اللُّجَيْـــنِ تُبَرْهِــنُ
عَلَى صِدْقِ شَوْقِي بَيْنَمَا الْوَقْتُ مَوْهِنُ
Tears shining like silver - during the darkness of the night -
are the proof of my sincere yearning (for the Beloved SAW)!
عَلَى هَيْكَلٍ فَوْقَ الْغَمَائِـــــمِ قَاصِـــدًا
مَزَارَكَ أَعْلَى النَّاسِ خَلْقًا وَ أَحْسَـنُ
On a body (flying) over the clouds (i.e. airplane)....
I travel to visit you, O Highest & Most Beautiful of Mankind in Character!
مُحَمَّـــدُ يَا خَيْـــرَ الْأَنَامِ فَمَا تَــرَى
لِـتَـيْمٍ شَدِيدِ الْحُبِّ وَالْمَدْحَ يُحْسِــنُ
Muhammad (SAW)! O Best of Creation!
What will you grant to a lover deeply in love & excels in your praise!
إِلَى جَمْعِكَ الْمـَـــدَّاحُ يُنْمَى وَ إِنَّـــهُ
أَسِيرُ هَوًى لَمْ يُلْفَ فِي الدَّهْرِ يُتْقِنُ
For this extoller belongs to your faction...
A prisoner of love, forever attempting to excel (in extolling you)!
فَكُنْ لِي شَفِيعًا يَا شَفِيعُ فَكُلُّ مَنْ
سِوَاكَ فَقِيرٌ لِلشَّفَاعَـــــةِ مُعْلِـــنُ
So intercede for me O intercessor...
For everyone but you is openly in need of (your) intercession!
وَ إِنِّـيَ أَرْجُوهَا بَشِيرُ وَ لَمْ أَنَلْ
لَـهَا سَبَبًا غَيْرَ الْكَبَائِـــرِ تُعْلَـــــنُ
And I surely hope for it O Bringer of Good News!
Even though I possess no cause for it but my sins so great!
أَتَيْتُكَ لاَ أَرْجُو سِـــــوَاكَ مُحَمَّــدًا
وَ أَنْتَ مَزُورِي أَنْتَ لِلْخَيرِ مَعْدِنُ
I have come to you O Muhammad seeking none but you!
And you O my host are the mine of generosity!
بِفَارَانَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ بِالْبَيْتِ تَقْبَلَـــنْ
خَدِيمًا رَفِيقًـــا لِلْجِنَـــانِ فَيُــوذَنُ
I have come to you in Faran & Batha (i.e. Makkah) and the Sacred House (Ka'bah)...
So accept me as a servant who will accompany you in Paradise & be granted entry into it!
فَصِلْنِي رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ طَــــهَ مُؤَمَّنًــا
فَلَمْ يَكُ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِ غَيْرِكَ مَأْمَــنُ
So grant me your protection O Messenger of Allah O Taha!
For I find no other refuge other than in you!
أُرَانِي كَغَيْرِي لاَجِئًا عِنْدَ بَابِكُــمْ
وَ كُلٌّ عَظِيمُ السُّؤْلِ كُلٌّ يُدَنْــــدِنُ
And I see myself - like many others - seeking refuge at your Door
And everyone is begging & beseeching there with their requests!
بِمَوْقِــــــفِ بَـــدْرٍ لاَ يَزَالُ تَذَكُّــرِي
إِلَى مَنْ غَدَا يَحْمِي الذِّمَارَ وَ يُومِــنُ
At my stop at Badr, I recalled the one...
Who was the protector & refuge for his people!
أَتَيْتُكَ يَا خَيْرَ الْخَلاَئِـــقِ مَوْهِنًـــا
أُرَجِّيكَ تُعْلِينِي وَ حَالِيَ تُحْسِـــنُ
I have come to you O Best of Creation as a weak person!
So please raise my rank and improve my condition!
وَ تَشْفِي سِقَامِي تَجْبُرُ الْكَسْرَ سَيِّدِي
وَ تَعْفُو عَنْ أَسْوَاءٍ دَرَاهَا الْمُهَيْمِــنُ
And heal my illnesses & fix my brokenness O my Master!
And overlook sins, well-known to the All-Dominating Lord!
مَرَرْتُ بِبَدْرٍ بِالْفُرَيْـــــشِ بِرَابِـــغٍ
لِمَسْجِدِهِ وَالْحَرُّ فِــي الْقَلْبِ مُكْمَــنُ
I passed by Badr, al-Furaysh and Rabigh…
Towards his Mosque with a heart pulsating with the heat (of love)!
لَكَ الْعَهْدُ مِنِّي يَا رَسُـــولُ فَإِنَّنِــي
أُحِبُّكَ حَتَّى حِينَ فِي الْقَبْرِ أُدْفَــنُ
You have my promise O Messenger (of God)
That I will continue loving you until I am buried in my grave!
يُؤَرِّقُنِي حُبِّيكَ لَيْلِي وَ كَيْـــفَ لاَ
وَ لاَ حَسَنٌ إِلاَّ لِحُسْنِــــكَ يَذْعَــنُ
My love for you keeps me up the whole night...
And how can it not when every beautiful one bows to your sublime beauty!
عَلَيْكَ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ
أَتَاكَ خَدِيمٌ قَاصِرٌ وَهْوَ مُومِـــنُ
May the Blessings & Salutations of Allah be upon you!
A servant full of shortcomings has come to you, with faith!
عَلَيْكَ أَيَا كَنْــــزَ الْبَرَايَــا نَبِيَّنَــا
صَلاَةٌ وَ تَسْلِيــــمٌ وَ إِنَّكَ مَأْمَــنُ
O Treasure-trove of Mankind! O Our Prophet!
Upon you be Blessings & Salutations, for you are our refuge!
عَلَيْكَ صَــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ
فَمَا لِيَ كَنْـــزٌ لاَ وَ لاَ لِيَ مَعْــدِنُ
May the Blessings & Salutations of Allah be upon you!
For I possess no treasure or precious stone (to gift you)!
عَلَيْكَ صَـــــلاَةُ اللّٰهِ ثُـــمَّ سَلاَمُــهُ
وَ لاَ عَمَلٌ يُنْجِي مِنَ النَّارِ مُتْقَــنُ
May the Blessings & Salutations of Allah be upon you...
And I possess no decent action to save me from the Fire!
عَلَيْكَ مَدَى الْأَيَّامِ مَا قَالَ خَــــادِمٌ
دُمُوعٌ كَرَقْرَاقِ اللُّجَيْـــنِ تُبَرْهِــنُ
May Blessings & Salutations be upon you...as long as the servant sings:
Tears shining like silver are my proof!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَاتِحِ لِمَا أُغْلِقَ وَالْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ
نَاصِرِ الْحَقِّ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْهَادِي إِلَى صِرَاطِكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ
وَ عَلَى آلِهِ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَ مِقْدَارِهِ الْعَظِيمِ
