JABAL QĀF (THE MOUNTAIN OF QAF)

Question: 

Assalamu alaikum Beloved Imam Shaykh Fakhruddin I pray that all's well with you and yours. 

I seek your guidance in the  understanding of this verse and the meaning here in Sirrul ziyara of Qaf ilaa Qaf.

السلام عليكم يا كافة أصحاب الشيخ حيث ما كنتم من قاف إلى قاف الأحياء منهم والأموات ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته.

Answer:

Wa Alaykum As-Salam Sayyidi,

From Qaf to Qaf من قاف إلى قاف refers to the entire universe.

This is because the Arifin have described the two sides of the universe as resembling the letter Qaf ق. Thus the Sufis call the boundaries of the universe as Jabal Qaf (the mountain of Qaf).
