WHAT TO DO IN RAJAB!

Alaykum As-Salam,
1-One
should make lots of Dua on first Night of Rajab.
2-Fast a
lot in Rajab. It increases answerability of Dua, and is a Sunnah.
3-ِAhl al-Faydah commemorate the birthday
(Gamou) of Baye Niasse (RA) on the 15th of this month as he was born and died
on the same date. He was born in the year 1318 AH (1900 AD). Attached is a
picture of the spot he was born in, in the village of Taiba Niassene in
Senegal. He was born under a tree, but now they built a room there as the tree
had died.
Sidi
al-Shaykhan (RA) of Mauritania wrote some deep poems in praise of the
birthplace of Baye (RA).
4-We
commemorate the Isra and Meraj of the Prophet (SAW) on the 27th (Refer to
Shaykh Mahys book on this topic by the way)
5-We
make Dua to reach Ramadan saying:
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا في رَجَبٍ وَ
شَعْبَانَ وَ بَلِّغْنا رَمَضَانَ
Allahummah barik lana fii Rajab wa Sha’ban wa balighna Ramadan
There
are other things also, but this is what i recall now. Ask your Shaykhs and
Muqaddams for more details.
